WEEKEND DRIVE @Jabaribanks

I was thrilled to hear that Audrey wanted to shoot film on this, and it quickly became my mission to lean into that opportunity by doing something that can only be done on film: varying the FPS during the shot by using an RCU. This allowed us to go from 6fps to 72fps and then back down to 6fps to create in-camera speed ramps. The benefit of this is twofold: authentic motion blur and dreamy bursts of light from the exposure changing. We were excited by how this would convey the nostalgic feeling of memory and the carefree feeling of youthful adventure.
