GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN for @axa Remarkably, I found out I was pregnant the eve before leaving for principal photography of this film. The 6 week production took me to Slovenia, Bangkok and Paris all within my first trimester of pregnancy, drawing me even closer to the characters in the film and potency of the stories. As I explored the themes of birth, girlhood, womanhood to motherhood — I was growing life inside me and embarking on my own inner transformation. It wasn’t until after the film was complete that I discovered I was having a girl. The synchronicity of art imitating life!
