'Justice Suicides.' (1/3) Themis “Θέμις,” - is the Goddess of Divine Order and Law. She is the embodiment and personification of justice. Hence she is also known as 'Lady Justice'. As seen, she is blindfolded because justice should be unbiased; devoid of prejudice against any people no matter their appearance, wealth, power, belief, or ethnicity. Lady Justice is most notable for the scales and sword she holds, the scales representing the impartiality of the court's decisions and the sword as a symbol of the power of justice. She was considered a prophetic goddess that could see into future, which granted her a position above other earthly oracles.
