My adoration for this Czech composer has made me write an essay about his famous string quartet “American” and the earthy sound he creates, and learn his violin concerto in my graduate school years 🤍 Humoresque is one of his most beloved, joyful little piece. For string players, it’s very familiar since we all learn it at our early stage.
