Hello friends. Allow me a moment to share something important with you.

I’ve been working with @emily_mcdon on a very special documentary called Worth Saving about the addiction recovery charity in Philadelphia @savagesistersfilm, headed up by the power house @sarah.laurel.517 and produced by us at @pwofilms.

We spent two weeks with them earlier this year covering their tireless work dealing with the epicentre of America’s growing opioid epidemic, Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia. Their unique approach to recovery and using harm reduction techniques has seen a dramatically reduced drop out rate than your traditional approaches to addiction recovery.

It’s grassroots initiatives like Savage Sisters that step in when the local government has failed to find a solution. Which is why it’s so important that we share their story.

We are currently raising money to continue shooting this project, with our eyes set on August as our next trip. In my bio is a link to the Kickstarter page for the project where you’ll be able to find out more about Savage Sisters and their brilliant work.

We currently have 41 days to raise £15k and in the words of our favourite British supermarket, every little helps.
