I am honoured to be invited to speak about investing in future talent at @creativeheadmag and #SalonSmart23 this Monday in London. Looking back when I had my salon I’n Essex (The House That Hair Built) it was common knowledge in our local community about the education and inspiration we gave our future talent…the results were plain to see everywhere by everyone, so much so that we had a filing cabinet full of young people’s details that wanted to come and work and train in our organisation and what that meant for the salon and the business...was that when one of our assistants/apprentices went from a 10/10 standard to a god for bid 7, we would show them that filing cabinet and they either went back up to a 10 or someone else took their place an opportunity.
