Runnin’ ‘round the CAR – The Marines with Detachment Bangui, Central African Republic, recently hosted their Region 7 commanding officer and first sergeant for a command visit. For physical training, the detachment led their leadership on a 4.5-mile motivational run and conducted calisthenics at the New Embassy Compound. Although Bangui is one of the most austere, remote, and isolated locations MSGs can be assigned to around the globe, the motivation remains high as the Marines make a difference at their post and in their community daily.
