Cleaning out my computer I stumbled upon a folder called “KON-TIKI polaroids” (not sure they’re actual polaroids). Taken by various crew, the images are from our sets in Malta, Bulgaria, Thailand and the Maldives in 2011. Looking at these now, I instantly feel the rolling waves and the smell of rotten bamboo and balsa.
