Hello!
Boundaries is very very excited to announce the new addition of Irish electronic, sound artist, producer EOMAC @ianmcdonnellmusic to the 2024 Boundaries programme.

I have been fans of Eomac ( Ian McDonnell to pals!) for way over a decade now since hearing those early banging LAKKER singles. So so good.

Then as time went on EOMAC came into existence and again i could begin to hear some real thrilling, exciting forward thinking electronic music getting produced.

Eomac has released a host of genre-spanning electronic music via legendary labels such as Planet Mu, The Trilogy Tapes, Bedouin Records, Killekill, Phantom Limb, Emika Records and more.
Ian also runs the label Eotrax and again is a long standing member of duos Lakker, noeverything and Lena Andersson.

The Eomac sound draws from obscure samples and raw sound design in an ongoingexploration of intense, visceral music for body and soul.

He has taken this soundacross theglobe in numerous live and DJ sets at festivals such as Unsound,Lunchmeat, MIRA and clubs like Berghain, Tresor and Circus Tokyo.

An active collaborator he has worked with a long list of musicians including: Lair, Arad,
Paula Temple, Kyoka, MC Yallah, Demian Licht, Sean Carpio, Kamikaze SpaceProgramme, Roger Doyle and many more.
His most recent collaboration is with Mohand Mehdi of Saint Abdullah, their recent work is stunning!

So far they have released music on Other People,Planet Mu and Drowned by Locals with a forthcoming album on Trilogy Tapes, andthey have performed live at Nuits Sonores, Berlin Atonal, Unsound and more!

I am absolutely buzzing to be able to add Eomac to this year's edition and can't wait for him to rip up and rinse the @poprecs walls on the opening Friday night.

Go follow Eomac and get checking out his fantastic discography.

For fans of Planet Mu, Warp Records, R&S Records and much more!!

Thanks again for all the support, it's always hugely appreciated.. Spread the word, grab a ticket and let's have the best time this November!!

Cheers
