Sisters, brothers, and others, I come bearing an update. On the 26th of October, the final pieces of these babies were joined together. HOWEVER, the necks were slightly back-bowed in a way that made it impossible for me to level the frets on the road due to the lack of tools I had on hand. After some reassurance from @dr.everythingwillbeallright, I put strings on them to give the necks a chiropractic adjustment. They play as they are, but to be up to my standards I still need to level the frets and fine-tune the nuts. Once those tasks are completed, you can expect a lot of sound samples of these puppies. I’m really excited! PS for additional context, I’m currently in the beautiful country of Japan and I return to the United States of America October 30th. Shall we say the drawing will commence on 11/20?
