@waylon.dean did me the honor of putting the guitars through their paces today. I got a little misty at one point. Thank you all for the interest in the last day! If you’ve been considering a ticket, now’s the time as we’re in the final couple of days. Everybody join me in telling Waylon how good he is please. 🙏 💕

9 years ago today a little vial like this changed and realistically saved my life. Today is also coincidentally Trans Day of Remembrance. It marks the end of trans awareness week and means to remind us of all the members of our community we’ve lost to bigotry related violence. I have nothing to say. Things are scary right now. We’ve been here forever and we will continue to be here. Tell your friends, we need allyship more than ever. Sending you love. 💕

Sisters, brothers, and others, I come bearing an update.
On the 26th of October, the final pieces of these babies were joined together. HOWEVER, the necks were slightly back-bowed in a way that made it impossible for me to level the frets on the road due to the lack of tools I had on hand. After some reassurance from @dr.everythingwillbeallright, I put strings on them to give the necks a chiropractic adjustment. They play as they are, but to be up to my standards I still need to level the frets and fine-tune the nuts. Once those tasks are completed, you can expect a lot of sound samples of these puppies. I’m really excited!
PS for additional context, I’m currently in the beautiful country of Japan and I return to the United States of America October 30th.
Shall we say the drawing will commence on 11/20?

Wednesday 10/9 marked my final show of the year, and it feels a bit surreal to wrap up my touring season so early 😇
In 2024, I had the opportunity to take part in 57 shows across four continents and 15 countries. That’s one more show than last year, but if there hadn’t been any cancellations, I would have surpassed last year’s total by nine. Throughout my adult life, I’ve often measured my sense of success through tangible statistics, so I make it a point to reflect on my journey each year before retreating to my little house in Pasadena.
I learned a lot this year. I successfully managed two primary artists and discovered that I can jump into a production without any rehearsals and still pull off a show. There are many days when I wonder how I reached this point in my life, but I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve accomplished. I look forward to continuing to be a trusted resource when people are building their teams.
While I’m not entirely sure what comes next—aside from my first vacation in years — I think it might be time to lock in and create art for myself while I have the opportunity.
A heartfelt thanks to the @dominicfike and @findingxfletcher teams for having me this past year, and to @blackfootwhitefoot and @newmonkeystudio for leaning on me during crucial moments without prior examples of my work.
Whether or not my statistics change, I’m proud of how 2024 turned out. ❤️
As for 2025, feel free to reach out!
PS - The Mustangs just need a couple of finishing touches. I’ll update shortly; I ran into a couple of roadblocks.
Beginning 10/30, I’m fully available for work. Hit me up for guitar setups, modeling, photography, tour emergencies… you know the drill. 🤓

What do we think? I could honestly go either way. I love a guitar with a story to tell but I want the PEOPLE to be charmed by this strummer.

This used to be common practice. Scratching names into the inside components of electric guitars was a way for musicians to personalize and mark their instruments as their own. This was a way to identify their guitars if they were lost or stolen, especially when traveling. It was an easy way to claim ownership! Some people would even scribe their social security numbers into the guitars! I’m very excited to be able to trace this history on this guitar ever so slightly further ESPECIALLY considering the condition this particular guitar came to me in. ❤️
