The first single from my upcoming EP, Past Life / Lifeline, is out today on @bettercompanyrecords 🙌 The EP features some of my favorite and most frequent collaborators: @laviniameijer @nadiasirota @sandbox_percussion and @lisel.jpeg This track is the first movement of Past Life, a piece I wrote for Lavinia and Nadia and that they toured across the Netherlands and US last year. After the tour we recorded it at @bettercompanystudios with @avtate and it was mixed by @tmcdiarmid It was a real pleasure to watch these two who are operating at such a high musical level navigate this piece and make it their own. Mirroring each other in themes and construction, the two works are a reflection on the spaces we inhabit, in both a literal and a musical sense, and how memory can have an impact on our perception of those spaces over time.
