This angel right here has made a huge difference in my life. My double mastectomy journey would not have been so smooth without her. I remember being in recovery and meeting her and immediately loved her. Each appointment for me to get checked or “filled” she would be so kind, so positive and supportive. After spending months together I was going in for my second surgery “the exchange of expanders for implants” and was more nervous then my first surgery. I remember hearing her voice and feeling immediately ok. She held my hand all the way to the OR. And then asked what I wanted to be played as I went under. I told her Taylor Swift “ready for it” and so as I fell asleep I felt strong and ready for my next chapter. I hope everyone has someone as caring and loving during such a crazy time in life. I’m so lucky we stay in touch and was able to attend my charity event.
