Last weekend at @complexcon, Phantom Ranch by Kozaburo (@hok_prm_kzbr) teamed up with @cactusjack to launch a special collaboration of our signature stapled hats. For this project, the vintage hats were handpicked by the Cactus Jack team and stapled by the House of Kozaburo. Phantom Ranch is sub-project by Kozaburo, all about giving used items a second life—with rough and precise handcrafts such as staples we aim to create a new attitude by pouring the raw spirit of the moment. The stapled hats take inspiration from kintsugi, the Japanese craft of mending broken pottery with staples or gold. Deeply rooted in Zen Buddhist philosophy, this art form embodies the essence of wabi-sabi that finds beauty in imperfection, simplicity, and the transient nature of life.
