8 years ago, I started my makeup career with nothing but passion and a dream. When I came to the US as a Latina immigrant, not knowing English and not knowing anyone. It was really hard to see a future when everyone was rejecting me for jobs. All I knew was that I wanted to do makeup that was the only dream I had back then. Honestly, my dreams weren’t even that big. I just wanted to do makeup, and everything else kind of happened along the way. Now, at 26, I’m married, a business owner and building my career as a makeup artist in LA. From working with brides to leading a team of 10 @nvglamteam , collaborating with brands and assisting top celebrity MUAs, I’m living a life I couldn’t even imagine back then. If God gave you a dream, it’s because it’s possible. We’re all growing, learning and inspiring each other every step of the way.
