We're firmly in the 'festive flicks' season so we've been asking our MediCinema colleagues what their favourite seasonal movie is. Today is Jon Jones' turn, Technical Assistant at the Serennu Children's Centre. "I know this is going to sound really cheesy now but my favourite Christmas movie is Elf and my fav scene from that movie is near the end when all hope seems lost for Santa because nobody believes in the spirit of Christmas anymore. It is such a brilliant scene when the little boy (I will call him Derek for now, because his name has escaped my mind 😂😂) reads out what is on Santa's list for different people to try and get them all believing in Santa again. To see lots of adults singing 'Santa Claus is coming to Town' in the middle of Central Park, New York, well it gets me every time. Why can't adults still believe in the spirit of Christmas? It is a beautiful scene and very well done. Also, I must be the only person who has never watched 'It's a Wonderful Life'. I know, I know, I need to be locked up for that crime.
