Finally finished restoring the second Crescent bike I picked up this summer—huge thanks to @vancityrelics for the tip! This step-through model was in much rougher shape than the blue men’s bike. It took quite a bit of work to de-rust and straighten out all the fender dents, but now it’s looking sharp. The electronics are fully functional, the chain is repaired, and the two-speed duomatic hub is running like a dream. Shoutout to Herbert for helping crack the combination on the Basta ring lock. I couldn’t save the original 28” tires, these will have to do for now. There’s still a bit more to do, but it’s already a stunning example of sleek Swedish bike design.
