When I first moved to LA I was overwhelmed by how big this place was. I couldn’t imagine how a city with so many people in it could also leave me feeling isolated and alone…and then I met you. The first time we met you and Dima came to my Soulcycle class. You spent 45 minutes singing, dancing and having the time of your life on the bike. Just like LA, you were larger than life. After the class you came up and asked me what my plans were for the holidays- I had just moved here and didn’t have an answer and so I said I didn’t have any and you responded “well you do now.” A few weeks later you gave me a Christmas present, wrapped in a box. You didn’t know it but it was the only present I received that year. Your little act of kindness transformed what could have been a very lonely holiday and made me feel like I was a little more at home. That’s what you do. Since the day I met you, you’ve showered me with love, laughter, introduced me to some incredible people, shown me kindness and been a true guiding light in this big city. You’ve made LA feel like home. It’s hard for me to put into words everything you mean to me but thank you for bringing me into your family. Thank you for loving me and THANK YOU for being born. You mean so much to me and I hope you have the absolute BEST BIRTHDAY!!!!
