On a relaxed night walk near Cabo Matapalo in the Osa Peninsula, I came across this adorable little crab perched in the leafy shrubbery next to the path. I don’t think I’ve ever posted an image of a crab on this account so it seems like a nice little change. 🦀❤️ And yeah it may seem strange to see crabs in the forest but it’s actually quite a common sight here, there are several species which live out most of the year up in the forest and only come down to the coast when it’s time to breed!
