Ancient My Enemy is an impressive new project by Nocturnazine’s very own Scott Harris (percussion, keys, programming) of @Hororhaus_official, together with TiTi @slutire (vocals, lyrics), and @Tommy_Grenas (guitars, bass, electronics). Their self-titled debut EP opens with a creative little intro immediately followed by the very rhythmically infectious “Pine Tar”. The tribal-esque beat and drive found within “Death Bloom” will definitely get you bouncing, and begs to be played on repeat. For me “Pit Of Darkness” best showcases their diversity in sound with so many beautiful audio shift progressions. For these reasons I also selected it as the soundtrack for this promo video. The EP closer “Born A Dog” slows things down a bit while throwing down a deliciously creepy vibe. I must also call your attention to that seriously cool logo design by LiLi!
