Due to the film’s structure of half narrative and half dance sequences, we opted to shoot these sections on different optical formats, landing on anamorphic for the narrative half. I had shot with the Atlas Orion 50mm on a project in the past and loved the characteristics and build of the lens, as well as how they paired with the Ursa Mini G2.
