Today we live in a world in need of great healing and change. We are asking for systemic changes, environmental protections, peace, healing and hope for a better future for all. What I have learned this past year on a deeper level is that all of this change and hope for good starts with one’s self. My time at Plum Village with the Buddhist monastics and the Global Optimism community has instilled in me that all of us has the power and ability to create a better world. By practicing (not perfectly 😌) mindfulness, loving kindness, forgiveness, compassion and joy I (WE) can help insure a better future for all beings. When in doubt take a few breaths and look around at anything knowing that every speck of dust to the vastness of space is us and we are interconnected. There is so much more to share but I can hardly distill it here. I wish you all love and compassion in your thoughts and actions. Thank you to all of the monastics especially my friend @phaphuu and @cfigueres for sharing the light of optimistic active hope. 🤍🙏🏽🪷
