With a natural talent for storytelling through design, Garcia climbed the ranks to become senior designer at Oscar de la Renta, mastering the art of blending craftsmanship with emotion. In 2015, he co-founded Monse with Laura Kim, making waves with their bold, deconstructed styles. Their partnership didn’t stop there—they returned to Oscar de la Renta in 2016 as co-creative directors, breathing new life into the iconic brand with collections that radiate modern sophistication. From bridal to accessories, Garcia’s work empowers women to feel glamorous and confident. His ethos? Infusing joy, collaboration, and emotional depth into every piece. FG: “I’d have to say my home. I find myself at my most relaxed and peaceful when in my own space. It doesn’t hurt that there are two adjunct tunnels to my office…” Favorite Chair? FG: “To be honest, I am a sucker for anything super comfortable and stylish. This can be a big cozy shearling chair or even a fabulous boucle settee.” Favorite Scent? FG: “My personal fragrance has been Byredo’s Sellier for years. I love a smokey, leathery scent” Favorite Hotel?
