glimpses of the night I designed and curated for JIL SANDER experience after the show. I wanted to offer an intimate atmosphere with a setting made by few elements: brightness, reflection and transparency. The soft moving lights of candles, the satin mirrored surfaces of my @___________lunaa furniture collection and the semitransparent layers of cloudy textile. I invited @leila.rufus to perform deep and ethereal sounds from the research she is developing on textiles, connecting her work with the space and the gathering. And I invited @alfio_alfredochirizzi and @bioester.azzola to interpret the gathering by offering an experiences of tastes about the transformation of matter in different status and textures. #JILSANDER

just presented a black lacquered collection for the new NYC @nanushka store, inside the architecture by @matteo__corbellini Just as animals appear in a natural landscape, here and there recognizable in their similarity, though different, I try to imagine elements that, together, create groups of individuals moving or standing in a certain environment. The focus is not on their individual presence, but on their collective relationships. I see @matteo__corbellini ’s architecture as a uniform landscape, though made up of diverse elements – like the sea, the desert, the forest, the city – and the elements I arrange in these landscapes are, each time, groups of individuals who are both similar and different, and interconnected with one another.

ho disegnato LUNAA in modo che potesse accogliere la nostra vita privata, quella degli altri artisti che ospitiamo e i lavori di tutti noi. l’ho disegnata come le cose e le persone che amo: talmente coraggiose da riuscire ad essere semplici e vulnerabili. penso che essere semplici sia difficile ma permetta di proporre il risultato come se facesse già parte delle nostre vite. LUNAA non ha nessun altro elemento che sè stessa, nessun bullone, nessun tassello, è un solo foglio lucente. e penso che essere vulnerabili sia molto sexy e che dia la possibilità di accogliere la vita nei suoi modi inaspettati e curiosi. LUNAA accoglie riflessi, segni, graffi, gocce e ricordi degli incontri che permette. sabato lancio la collezione nel nostro atelier davanti a @villa_clea, dalle 18 alle 21 ci beviamo un bicchiere 🥂

@___________lunaa opening cocktail will take place in the courtyard of @villa_clea, via d’agrate 25-27, Milan, saturday 13th of april from 6 to 9 pm. LUNAA collection will be on show in the art studio that face the courtyard of Villa Clea. The collection will be on show from that opening until the 21st of april. Villa Clea will be open to visitors with a selection of works of the first four artists in residency.
