Band leader of Sun Ra’s arkestra, Marshall Allen for the cover of @thewiremagazine, photographed in Sun Ra’s home on the anniversary of his passing. At the time of shooting, Marshall was recording his debut solo album at the age of 100 🎷 A pleasure to photograph a musical legend who has been such a massive part of one my favorite musical movements of all time!
