Last week I had to say goodbye to my best friend. She got sick earlier this year and it went downhill quickly. I have never felt this much love from an animal ever before in my life. She thanked us every single day for rescuing her and being her people. Sailor, thank you so much for the most beautiful 7 years. I will forever miss your kisses, snuggles, lizard conquests, your help in the kitchen, you sitting on my feet so I wouldn’t leave, and your welcome home toy parades. I love you so much, Sailor June- there will never be another like you! 🤍🩷🐶🪽
