Yesterday, mid morning session as I watched Matt trim lefts and rights from the outside I slowly worked my way into his space haha! Traded a couple soft bombs then asked if I could make a portrait with him.. not sure he knew what he was getting into but he obliged and we made a couple moments. Matt has been instrumental in my love of surfing, he is always fired up, wide eyes and so genuine in every interaction. It’s these people that make the cold water surfing my therapy. I’m so fired up to share the water with humans like this. Thanks Matt! Finally got to work with this guy, and can confirm he’s better at bikes than you. ;) what this guy does for biking is quite something and wether you know it or not he’s already thinking of the next thing. The rigs, flawless over the last two weeks. To our fellow parents looking to make the bikepacking inclusive of the littles, The tandem unit is manufactured and sold by FollowMe Tandem. We couldn’t be more psyched on how it performs and the ease of the switch over, giving Briggs his freedom in seconds. My bicycle frame is a Scapegoat Scapebot by @crustbikes and besides being absolute hosed on shipping identifying as Canadian the US made bicycle is the most comfortable bike my 6’3” self has ever ridden. It rips, its stable, and feels playful even while loaded. Its build of components is very unique to me coming from MTB but everything is simple and perfectly working giving me peace of mind while isolated. A stand out was the mechanical/hydro disc brakes also put out by Crust, they are the PalmOil. I carried a mix of bags by some smaller brands like @bagsxbird and @swiftindustries both very high quality and a set of indestructible @oldmanmountainracks bags on the rear. Jones H2.5 bars are wicked comfy and yeah the @foxmtb transfer post was a high grade upgrade when putting a foot down. Contents of the bags could be in another post if y’all would care to know about tool kits and sleeping bags, tents etc! If you all have any questions at all don’t hesitate, I spent months building this train up and I just want to carry on to the next country with B in tow. 🤙🏽
