Nearly half of all new HIV diagnoses in the U.S. occur in the South. New analysis from amfAR’s Policy office shows we could see an additional 32,000 avoidable HIV cases in the South by 2030, should other Southern states follow Tennessee’s lead in rejecting federal guidance and funding for HIV prevention.
