AMIRI announces the opening of its second retail destination in South Africa at Cape Town’s Victoria Wharf, expanding the brand’s footprint in the region after launching an initial storefront in Johannesburg in 2022. Reflecting the distinct and established language of the AMIRI retail universe, AMIRI Cape Town features an ocean- blue carpet in the MA Quad Monogram, custom white oak furniture, and travertine marble tables that enhance the natural, hand-crafted design. AMIRI integrates an ‘open gallery’ concept into each of its boutiques, incorporating one-off artworks into each space. Each new retail environment offers a fresh perspective on this idea - here, with two custom handcrafted wooden wall pieces by artist Oksana Schön (@oksanaschondesign), opening a dialogue between art, architecture and the AMIRI collections.
