Ed Ruscha for The Hollywood Reporter on newsstands (?) now… 1) Ed with his 1933 Ford Pickup in an impromptu #themandtheirs 2) In back of his studio at the open air work space 3) OOF, oil on canvas, 1962 (reworked 1963) 4) I was telling Ed how often myself and others commonly text “oof” unrelated to his painting. He kindly humored me by acting out what it meant to him with a subtle reaction to getting punched in the gut. I guess he’s cool even when he’s being attacked?! Doing 9 celeb shoots in 2 weeks wasn’t on my bucket list, but we we did it, and then some!!! 😅😅😊😊 I am very proud of these shoots and the beautiful relationships they represent. @munachiosegbu @abdmstudio and @austinhargrave you each came through in the biggest of ways and I’m indebted. @avaselbach and @naomypedroza i would be dead without you. @pbcury not sure how you deal with me but thank you @carolmccolgin you really upped the ante even at year 14 and I’m blown away! @aceking you’re a magical star. @lermitagebh you guys are class acts, thank you!!
