@pifilmfestnyc), happening October 17-20! Formerly known as the Hālāwai Film Festival, PIFF returns for its second edition, now bigger and better, with a stunning lineup of 30+ films and special events that highlight the rich storytelling and creativity of the Pacific Islands.
📅 The festival opens on October 17 with “A Celebration of Dances of the Pacific Islands” at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, featuring live performances and film screenings. Throughout the weekend, PIFF will present an exciting mix of feature films, shorts, and free public events across notable NYC venues like the Village East by Angelika, the National Museum of the American Indian, and Ascent Lounge at Columbus Circle.

Dinner and a Movie on Friday, October 18: A unique prix fixe dinner at Michelin-recognized
@noreetuhnyc, followed by the film *Inky Pinky Ponky*, a coming-of-age story from New Zealand.

@culturalartsnetwork), featuring filmmakers and creatives from Hawai’i. Plus, free screenings celebrating Pacific Island heritage and storytelling.
Closing Night Gala on Sunday, October 20 at Ascent Lounge, complete with a filmmaker awards ceremony and a live performance by Hawai’i’s beloved musician Paula Fuga! 🎶
