Telford 10k 2024. . A few edits from Sunday’s race, mostly wave 1. . As the English 10k champs, Telford attracts a very strong field, and that together with its reputation as one of the fastest 10k races in the country means it’s right up there in many elite and club runner’s calendars for chasing PBs. . A dominant @jackrowe._ saw the men’s course record smashed (28:01 chip time) and @ameliaquirk took the women’s first place in 32:34 chip time. With conditions decent if a little muddy, 57 men ran under 30 minutes and 49 women under 36 minutes. This was the 40th Telford 10k, and the 30th masterminded by Telford AC’s Race Director supremo Dave Mansbridge, and with a great team behind him helping to make sure the event went off perfectly once again.

Keely Hodgkinson already has eyes on world records next season 🔥 Fresh off being crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year, the Olympic 800m champion has set her sights on breaking Jolanda Čeplak’s long-standing mark of 1:55.82 in Birmingham in the new year 🇬🇧 The meeting has been named the “Keely Klassic” 🌪️ Incredibly, Hodgkinson was born (March 3, 2002) on the same day that Čeplak set the world indoor 800m record 🤯
