Room 23 is an exhibition of practice-based research by master’s student Clayton Heeley (@claytonheeleyphotography) at Bath House Galleries, University of Huddersfield. Clayton’s research uses photography as a coping method and autobiographically documents his experience of undergoing and recovering from a double mastectomy as a Transgender man in the UK. The final year photography students have set up an afternoon to take headshots for anyone who may need. This event will take place on the TUESDAY 19TH MARCH. Here’s a statement from the photography students. “As a group of final year photography students, we are trying to raise money for our final year exhibition and one of the things we are doing for this is offering headshots out for students to use for things such as their LinkedIn profiles, CV’s, and anything else they may need them for. On Tuesday 19th March between 1:30pm and 4:30pm we will be offering this service at the studios in the Barbara Hepworth building. The pricing structure is one headshot for £2.50 or three headshots for £5, with the optional of £3 for general retouching on the image. Payment will be taken on the day but we ask that you book a time slot using the Google Doc form so we know how many people will be coming at what time. https://forms.gle/q72C823ns39Q5pHW6 All the money from this will be going towards putting on our final year exhibition and making a catalogue of the work we have made as a year group. Everything is suspended in movement is an exhibition of new practice-based research by photographer and @baphotohudd staff member Richard Mulhearn at Bath House Galleries, University of Huddersfield. Richard’s research explores spaces of perception to claim ‘photographic uncertainty’, as a creative method for making and looking at photographs.
