Happy 7 years in NYC to me ✨ Welcome to my yearly sappy post - if you know me, you know I love a recap. This past year was one of the hardest of my life. Physically and emotionally. Being on the other side of it, I know how strong I am and that I can navigate my way through anything. I’m taking all the hard lessons & boundaries I learned and putting them into practice. But even in the midst of all this chaos, I made some INCREDIBLE memories. I got to visit Japan in cherry blossom season and I was the makeup department head on the biggest feature film I’ve worked on - two major things on my dream board. Growing up is equally fulfilling and horrifying. If you told me the things I’d experience, I would have screamed in excitement and collapsed in panic all at the same time. But I’m astonishingly proud of myself. I know there’s so much good to come. To the city that made me who I am today, I fall more in love with your beauty and authenticity and vibrant people more and more everyday. Take a breath and relax, I promise you can survive it all and more ❣️
