On my birthday, I wanted to share with you my latest big (and slightly silly) personal project. It took me over 45 hours of work, left me covered in blisters, made me move out of my home for a few days, and gave me several sleepless nights (most of the videos were filmed at night… strange coincidence). Yes, I’m talking about a Christmas tree —made of cardboard, air-dry clay, and books — ladies and gentlemen 🫠🫠🫠. I write books, but building a tree can knock me out? It may not be the prettiest, but I’m still incredibly proud of it 🥲. You’re probably thinking this is a bit over the top (or maybe you’re not thinking anything). But really, it’s nothing... blame it on the stars. I’m a Sagittarius, after all. For someone who doesn’t believe in astrology, I must admit it’s the perfect excuse: chaotic tendencies, a flair for exaggeration, and an insatiable need for freedom and adventure. Je dois avouer que chaque fois que je dis que Munich fait partie des villes où je me verrais bien vivre, on me regarde avec des yeux ronds. Les gens semblent méconnaître cette destination et ont souvent des préjugés sur l’Allemagne. Quel dommage ! À mes yeux, Munich offre un équilibre parfait entre culture et loisirs. La ville est propre, sûre, et il y règne une atmosphère agréable. Pour du tourisme, notamment si l’on préfère éviter les fortes chaleurs, c’est une destination idéale. Elle permet de découvrir un patrimoine architectural impressionnant et des merveilles naturelles comme les lacs et les nombreux châteaux dans la région. Et vous, qu’en pensez-vous ? 🇬🇧
I must admit, whenever I mention that Munich is one of the cities where I could see myself living, people give me the most surprised looks. Many seem unfamiliar with the city and tend to hold preconceived notions about Germany. What a shame! In my opinion, Munich strikes the perfect balance between culture and leisure. It’s clean, safe, and has a generally welcoming atmosphere. For tourism, especially for those who dislike intense heat, it can be an ideal choice. The city offers a delightful mix of architectural wonders and natural beauty, with lakes and countless castles in the surrounding region. What do you think? 🇫🇷 Le @chateauchampssurmarne , conçu par l’architecte Pierre Bullet au XVIIIe siècle, fut commandé pour Paul Poisson de Bourvallais, un financier du roi. Ancienne résidence de prestige, il accueille actuellement un spectacle immersif de Noël. Le reste de l’année, la visite est gratuite pour les -25 ans et pour tous le 1er dimanche de chaque mois. Bien que légèrement excentré, ce petit bijou reste facilement accessible en RER + bus depuis Paris. 🇬🇧The @chateauchampssurmarne , designed by architect Pierre Bullet in the 18th century, was commissioned for Paul Poisson de Bourvallais, a royal financier. Once a prestigious residence, it now features an immersive Christmas show. Throughout the year, entry is free for visitors under 25 and for everyone on the first Sunday of each month. Though slightly outside Paris, this hidden gem is easily reachable via RER and bus. With the colder days, it’s finally time to dive into editing the photos and reels I took in March and May in Marrakech (yes, I’m sooooo late 🥲🥲🥲). As a true lover of Marrakech, I’ve gotten to know this city pretty well! In fact, I’ve been there about more than 15 times now. After thoroughly exploring all the major tourist spots, I think it’s time to turn my attention to the riads and hotels, which are abundant and undeniably part of the city’s charm. They’re attractions in their own right! Many of them even allow non-guests to come for lunch, a drink, or just to soak in the ambiance. For instance, I often recommend Palais Sebban (picture 1 and 3) for its affordable mint tea (around 300/400 dirhams or 3-4euros) served in an absolutely stunning setting—it’s a great way to add a touch of originality to your trip.
