When I first moved to New York City, there was always a part of me seeking something that seemed oddly difficult to find in a sea of diversity. I was seeking my generation of Vietnamese artists and creatives. Overtime, we started to find each other on the internet.
In a funny way, this group shot depicts me with my eyes covered. It is almost metaphoric to the experience, playing a game of seeking when we were always with each other in plain sight.
I’m so honored to be featured alongside 17 other brilliant Vietnamese creatives sharing their talents with the greatest city in the world and beyond. Artists, chefs, textile designers, photographers, coffee makers… the list goes on. So many of us had already found each other on Instagram, so I couldn’t be more grateful to
