Justine LaVonne / @churchbitch is a multidisciplinary artist based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Justine enjoys experimenting with duality: intertwining the delightful with the grotesque to create her own worlds and characters. “I started creating miniature cities two years ago and haven’t been able to stop. Any free time I have is spent getting lost in worlds that are two feet tall. I’ve always loved industrial architecture, but since moving to Louisiana, I’ve gained an ever growing fascination with oil refineries. My goal for this exhibition is to combine my love of world-building and my interest in brutalist refinery design”

hey friends! i'm sorry it's taken this long to post an update on health stuff. as someone who has a love/hate relationship with attention, recovery in the public eye was weirdly hard for me. ive been in physical therapy 3 days/week (i did a deadlift last session!) i've been paying out of pocket while jumping through hoops, trying to get my insurance to kick in. right before my 12th PT session, i was told my insurance plan doesn't cover physical therapy. i'm pretty certain it does and now i'm at a loss on what my next steps are. if anyone knows how to navigate health insurance (especially iatse health insurance) i am but a small baby and need some assistance :( im truly blessed and thankful... -for all of you -for all of your messages i have yet to respond to (i'm sorry) -for everyone who stopped by to drop off food/supplies or just say hi when i was unable to leave my house -for all my animal friends -to be able to create the weirdest and most wonderful things with the weirdest and most wonderful people ....................... 1. me and squeak city for @monsters__only (📸 @basqo_ ) 2. roach baby for @monsters__only 3. if the roach that crawled into my ear and died actually got me pregnant through my ear and we had a baby 4. portapotty by @alex.nicola.axon 5. sorry henry 6. monster home by @theodora.eliezer
