i still don’t know what to say but i feel like i’ve finally reached a point where i can say something. losing you has been the hardest thing i’ve experienced in my life. i won’t go into the grief i feel because really i can’t. i can’t articulate it. but as i reach the point where i can talk to you again, where i can type this very post i know that i am reaching a new stage. i saw a tik tok (ik ik the gen z jumped out) of a guy trying to prepare for a date but he’s struggling because he starts to miss his deceased brother. and what really resonated w me was when he said “i pull up my grief to every table i sit at”. there is not a day that has passed that i have not thought about you, jensen. i can’t imagine there ever will be. but they say we grieve bc we loved, and god i must’ve loved you a lot. and how lucky i am to have been able to. how lucky i am to have met you in debutante. how lucky am i to have went away for college and come back every holiday and we picked right back up where we left off. how lucky am i to have gained a sister, my birthday twin as we called each other. and how lucky am i to have been able to celebrate our birthdays together before it was too late. i may not have won that $2 billion power ball but i think i am luckiest person in the world. i love you so much that it hurts jensen. i cannot wait for anything more than to see you again. but until then ik dad and jordan are there with you and for that i’m grateful. and i want you to know that i am here with mom jill and grandma (did you know guinea pigs can oink??). ❤️ your birthday twin
