New work 🎥 for the short film Gold Rush! . In this surrealist satire of the Ozempic era, a young woman must decide how far she’s willing to go to achieve the skin of her dreams. . “The film explores how the beauty industry’s toxicity can complicate female friendships…” . It was a blast working on this film and with everyone included on it. Color was a major part of the story telling so it was a fun challenge from pre production all the way through post. . To Be Honest is hitting the festival circuit! We'll be playing at six (!) festivals during the month of October (actually seven, but we're not allowed to talk about the last one yet...) (All screening times are local for the festival in question) Our world premiere will be at the @northhollywoodcinefest in Los Angeles at 7:00 pm on October 1st. I'll be there for part of the festival so if I know you and you're in LA shoot me a text :). The full festival runs from September 28th through October 2nd. After that we go to the @tacomafilmfest where we have two screenings - playing first at 5:00 pm on October 8th, and then 5:00 pm on October 12th. Liana, JR, and I will all be in attendance for the first of those! The full festival runs October 6th through the 13th. If you're looking for a virtual option we'll be playing online through the San Francisco Short Film Festival presented by @sfindiefest from October 6th through the 16th! Check them out at www.sfindie.com Then we come to the east coast with the @senefest in Providence, RI at 3:00pm on October 15th! JR, Liana, and I will all be in attendance. The festival runs from the 13th through the 15th. Next up is our NYC premiere at the New York Shorts International Film Festival (@nyshorts), where we play as part of their opening night festivities on October 21st, our screening at 8:00 pm at Cinema Village on E12th Street. Liana, JR, and I will be there! The festival runs until the 28th. Then we're hopping over to the @mysticfilmfest in Mystic, CT - screening at 2:00 pm on October 22nd. Full festival runs October 20th through the 23rd! After that there's more to come... We can't wait to share this film with you guys :)
