Working on Stranger Things was my start in the film industry. Thanks to @indyhead, I was hired by the Covid Safety team where I worked for 5 months. My job was to make sure the entire cast and crew Covid tested and wore their mask and safety goggles each day. The days were long (frequently more than 14hrs) and no one was fond of wearing their masks which made the job maddening at times. Tbh, there were many days I was on the verge of quitting. But I ended up meeting so many amazing friends which was by far the best part of the experience. Toward the end of my time on the show, I befriend the lighting crew who embraced me and gave me my start as a Set Lighting Technician on the show and I’m forever grateful for that opportunity. @coyisabadfish @ette_pro @mikeyg09 @lil2young (They also took many of these photos) Nowadays, I’m working in the lighting department on other shows in Atlanta.
