Inclusion is more than a buzzword—it’s a mindset, a commitment, and a strategy that can transform workplaces and policies alike. Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to discussions that aim to shape how organisations and governments approach disability inclusion. Thank you
@rachaellmole and the group of thought leaders and change makers that I had the privilege to sit at
@google for bringing different perspectives and opening up well needed solution driven discussions.
When we prioritise accessibility and empower disabled employees, we create a ripple effect of innovation, creativity, and resilience. By fostering cultures where everyone can thrive, we unlock perspectives that drive better decision-making, stronger teams, and products that truly serve diverse markets.
Changing policies isn’t always easy, but it’s incredibly rewarding. Seeing organisations shift toward actionable inclusion—whether by rethinking hiring practices, investing in assistive technology, or amplifying the voices of disabled professionals—reinforces why this work matters.
Inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s the smart thing to do. Together, we’re proving that diversity fuels success and that the best solutions emerge when everyone has a seat at the table.
Let’s continue pushing boundaries, advocating for change, and building cultures where every individual’s potential is realised. Because when we design for inclusion, we innovate for all.
Thank you to Google for being part of the conversation.
I’d love to hear your thoughts: how has inclusion driven innovation in your work?
