Elizabeth and I covered an Angel Olsen song at the first performance we ever did together, years ago, as we were figuring out how we wanted to collaborate musically together. It feels very special, gratifying and full-circle to be included on Angel’s new compilation album, and to have her put out a beautiful cover our song “Farfisa Song”, which was the first song we ever released. Sessa’s an amazing São Paulo-based musician. Playing @theavalonlounge Oct 25 also with FCP, and joining @overheard.music for a few songs that night as they celebrate their album release. 🕊️ At long last!!! Our new record, ᴏꜰ ᴇᴀʀᴛʜ ᴀɴᴅ ɪᴛꜱ ᴛɪᴍᴇʟʏ ᴅᴇʟɪɢʜᴛꜱ, is out today via @miserymother 🕊️ She came together in bits and pieces, over a long while, some songs written alone, in a wooden room, on the road, driving through remote corners of the country, always in strange and beautiful places. And then, of course, many songs came about together, in community, in friendship, at the very last minute. We say that this record is about the distance between grief and possibility, but it’s also about allowing yourself to feel joy, seeking to align your heart with love. It’s a commentary on the culture, it’s a call for collective liberation. We are just so glad that what we have written and recorded is here for you, today, right now. New @campsainthelene single out today! This is one of my favorites off of the upcoming record. Even in its simplicity and understatedness, it took a good amount of time to finish it; to strike the balance between fully realizing the idea, without overproducing it. 12+ mix revision rounds? The music video was made a few seasons ago in Los Angeles by @redjuicyjumpsuit and @silkenweinberg on 8mm film. You can watch it in the CSH insta bio.
