Still reflecting on the wonderful month I spent in residency @casadenadataos with such a kind and talented group of artists.A few highlights included Pit firing pots under the moonlight with @potterybyosa… Watching @chrissyangliker journal with the ducks every morning… Harp under the tree and jig saw practice with @yesolpictures … Poetry and lectures in the tower of an Adobe castle inspired by St John the Baptist by @daydreamboy … our wonderful hosts Amber, Sayer and mighty little West Moon taking on adventures to hang with packs of donkeys and community dinners and studio visits… wonderful conversation with new and old friends.. Finally working on furniture designs I’ve been sitting on with the help of my dad and brother who stopped in for a visit. Time watching the sky always shifting, watching the lilacs burst into bloom, the soils, feet in the cold snowmelt water, the many flocks of magpies and the shiny ravens catching the sun in their black feathers. The earth in her rich tones. ❤️
