Heeeeyyy girlies 🤍 There’s been some new faces following the page recently so I thought I’d save you the scroll down and tell you a little bit about me and the Emily Lou Hair salon. I’m Emily Lou, based on the upper floor of the beautiful @basebeautyleeds on town street in Horsforth. Iv been hairdressing for nearly 20 years and Iv been super lucky to had so many opportunities along the way. My background includes managing a salon back home in Essex for nearly 10 years whilst session working on the side. In this time I was presenting on QVC, whilst also educating for some of the biggest hair industry brands nationally - all whilst also having some of the most fabulous clients a girl could wish for. I then moved to Yorkshire, where I took over as Head of Education for the UK and Ireland for the luxury hair extension brand @greatlengthsuk. I worked with the brand full time for nearly 10 years designing their education, managing the national teams and working on their creative campaigns, collections and projects. In addition to this, iv also worked globally at fashion week - including Milan, Paris, New York and Haute Couture which I loved every single second of! And then during all this madness, I met the incredible owner of Base Beauty, Tori, and we set up the hidden salon that is Emily Lou Hair on the upper floor. It’s my happy space! My space where I focus on one client at a time and ALWAYS aim to make sure you love your hair. The journey starts with your consultation where we can plan your hair goals and start making them come true! The diary is open from Wednesday to Saturday with two late night evenings.
