Welcome Ric Cantor to the Epoch UK roster! 🔥 We are thrilled to add award-winning comedy director Ric Cantor to the roster in the UK, Amsterdam, Ireland and Asia. Based in London and LA, Ric grew his career writing and directing sketch show comedies and features (‘Man Stroke Woman, Suzie Gold, Da Ali G Show’). His work mines the rich seam of awkwardness in everyday life, for brands including McDonald’s, Specsavers, Domino’s, KFC and Tesco. Ric Cantor: ‘Epoch is comedy royalty; simple as that. Epoch’s founder and owner @mindy_goldberg will be presenting a workshop at Ciclope entitled UNTOLD STORIES alongside Prettybird’s @actioncannon, Biscuit’s @shawnbullen and Eleanor’s @sophiegold. Registrations for this session should be done through CICLOPE’s app. It will take place this Wednesday Oct 9 @ 3-4pm. This workshop offers an intimate conversation featuring four generations of female production company owners, each sharing pivotal moments and insights from their journeys in the industry. They’ll share personal stories, reflecting on the challenges faced and progress made by women in their generation, while also addressing the work that still lay ahead. You’ll hear how the business has evolved and what they envision for the future. After sharing their untold stories and the advice they wish they’d received, each woman will pass the torch – in this case the mic – to the next generation, ultimately inviting the audience to ask them questions, share their own stories, and connect with others – fostering a vibrant community of female mentorship for both current and future leaders. Expect a mix of humor, eye-opening insights, and vulnerability as each speaker reveals untold stories from their paths in production aimed at enlightening, entertaining, and inspiring.
