New Mexico: Thank you so much for having me. I took so much from you. Your sunsets. Your sunrises. Your chile sauces. Your Sopapillas. I took a lot of inspirational photos of rock formations. Even your city benches are cool. The one thing I can’t take is a Yucca rostrata, and I love this plant, but I’m not allowed so I’ll just have to come back and see them irl. Oh and the way you paint your highways that dusty peach and the architecture here. I wanna go back home and pueblo up my whole casa! But I left you something in return. It’s right by a megastore. 😘

Chilaquiles. A proper breakfast. And I was a bit skeptical for some reason due to the fanciness of Campo but this was lights out perfection. Fresh chips, great salsa. Not too spicy but loads of intensity. And then all the other stuff. Potatoes were fire. Beans were a delight. 11/10.

I relocated to the high desert for a bit and needed my wine club shipment cause I had to have my fix! No time for a formal tasting with proper stems and all that. Did the Lotaburger picnic which proved to be just what the doctor ordered. Joel has crushed it once again. The fine wines are gonna knock your socks off. The new sipper slippers is a juicy blockbuster. There is just no one at this level. Sorry, but heimy had to say it. Maybe it’s all this big truck energy I have now. But I’m rooting tootin right! We have avail slots over at @lasjaraswines. Best way to get our new vintages before they sell out. And thank you to all our club buds for the love for 9 vintages!!! ❤️❤️ Oh and every club member gets their very own fan poster to tape on their walls and dream of knowing how to perform reductive winemaking. 😊

Another Banger! Possibly top of the charts. But how can you not enjoy a carne adovada stuffed sopapilla xmas style??? The red chili was divine! The braised pork shoulder in the fried dough was bundle of spicy joy. And finished off with a Mexican wedding cake, which is like a carrot cake but way more fun. As most things in Mexico are. A little pineapple is just what I needed

30 yr old Dracaena Marginata Character plucked gently from deep in the jungles of Hawaii. Honestly have never been moved this deeply by something with a hauntingly beautiful cyclone-like movement. It just continues and repeats and you can see the wisdom in its bark. Paired with a conical planter from the 50’s. And paired with another stunner Dracaena. Gino sorta likes but is a bit scared. So am I.
