Calyn, you are the Sun & the Moon all in one. You have taught me more about myself than I could have ever even known. Your patience and strength, your ability to nurture others while going through the unimaginable……To be a best friend and to be a sister to you is a joy and a blessing I will never forget and never take for granted. You handled every second of this life with grace and kindness. You were always in touch with yourself and the stars, I know now that you are looking down on all of us, in our hearts forever, laughing and frolicking in the sky, free from pain, light as air, radiant & with your mom. I don’t really have words to describe all that you are and all that you mean to me. Being by your side through all of this has broken my heart, and taken a part of me I’ll never get back, but it has also shown me the strongest love & the deepest courage. You were always too good for this world. I would do anything to hear your laugh again, sing in the car, make art with you. To be with you in your last moments was truly an honor. I found a reason to keep living, oh and that reason, dear, it’s you. Rest easy Cal, you are my dearest friend, I love you forever. I miss you every moment and every hour. 💛
