Stay tuned for the event on the 21st of December where everyone will be invited to get a shirt, bag or piece of cloth, and print a slogan on it with the help of the team behind SS! ------------------ The objective of this 3-day workshop series is to offer tangible support for the protests for Gaza and Palestine. Guided by Farah, attendees will craft letter-based designs inspired by Arabic chants and slogans of their choice. These designs will be digitized and subsequently printed, free of charge, onto banners, t-shirts, and various surfaces, utilizing the silkscreen technique through the collaborative efforts with SS Silkscreen. . Session 1: Arabic lettering. Looking at classic calligraphy for historical context and visual reference. Experimenting with tools and form to create custom lettering. Each participant will work on their own word/sentence/slogan. . Session 2: Refining/cleaning/digitising the lettering and possibly adding effects or graphic elements. . Session 3: Screen-printing the results on fabric, carton, t-shirts and tote-bags. Session will take place at Haven Thursday the 21st of December and will be open for all. .
