the f world just wrapped another Paris Fashion Week season with the trust of @parisfashionweek, @sheriff.projects, and @kitten_production 🍒 i’m still having the time of my life directing, editing, and composing the score for the films of this project so special to me! blending my world with @muglerofficial ‘s was a great privilege - alongside the films I could do for @chanelofficial, @ninaricci, among others. one day in july 2018, my aunt told me a story and i fell to the ground apparently she and i share more than the same blood. our paths seem to cross in different timelines and spaces, mirroring connections... it’s like being literally seen by the universe. and i can only be open and grateful for this ride thank you tia lili @elianecarneirosouza for accepting to tell with me this story that we share, thank you @jimcalamel for the track that originated all this catharsis. directing, texte, images, editing and voiceover by me

the f world what a ride this past month has been: directing, shooting, editing and composing the soundtrack for films about people who do incredible work, at one of the most important events in the world. not bad at all. i’m such a lucky girl this is one of the films from the series “The F World”, where we interviews fashion designers who have made their shows at this past Paris Fashion Week® and Haute Couture Week. this is not a personal project like the ones i usually post on instagram, but i had so much fun doing this & i gave so much of myself to it, that these films carry a lot of me. besides that they allowed me to further affirm my identity as a filmmaker, so grab the popcorn, flip your phone and get ready! ps: if you wanna see the other films, feel free to check them out on the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode youtube page special thanks to @parisfashionweek @hautecoutureweek @sheriff.projects and @kitten_production for the trust and for allowing me to express so much of myself in this project. can’t wait for our next adventures! @kidsuper @ayflx @amyverner @miaout.12 @romainbroch @cameverywhere_ @candice.dpln

BAD - march/2023 - paris france there are encounters in life that last exactly as long as it needs to turn you inside out — which is the right side, yes? it’s the part of ours with no ties, no filter. it takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable. but the most fascinating thing is that it is in vulnerability that our strength lies in this particular project, i am delivering my most intimate side, opening my heart as i open the door to my house, translating all this urgency that inhabits me into images, sounds, words. this film is me, all of me. my experiences, my feelings, my words, my voice, my music, my images. i am presenting the truest and rawest self and i have never felt so powerful i mixed old and new technologies, vhs and cell phone screenshots as pictorial support to tell this story. after all, we’re on these super-tech-dating apps looking for connection, for vibration - the root of everything. i recently got a vocoder, so i have been listening to daft punk a lot. i knew i wanted a score that would build itself up in a progressive way, the sounds that go back and forth, high and low. the soundtrack as an orchestra leader itself; arranging images and voices in a delicate and mesmeric dance of two elements, two people. we are humans, and, therefore, animals - true to desires. children of the great mother nature, direct reflections of her; to whom we turn to survive and so for guidance in the matters of life. see: nature is vulnerable and yet extraordinarily strong. how amazing life would be if we were all like that too #nownessweekly #filmlife #vhstapes #newcinema #artfilm #surrealism #surreal #magic #love #datingapp #blueeyes #womenempowerment #creative #filmmakersofinstagram

if you go, go in peace - a film-meditation - February/2023 - paris france It came from my attempt to put a little of grace in something so aching. I live in a place between love and hate with my tinnitus, a condition that appeared after being diagnosed with hearing loss. I love it when it sounds like the night on a farm; hate when it is so loud that hurts my ears. In the search for peace and silence, I ended up listening less. And yet listening more. I’m never alone, now. And so I’ll never be alone as I was when I turned 30 and shut myself away in a Buddhist temple. Meditated a lot. Dreamed a lot. Have been hypnotised by the wiseness of the trees. Tried to become one. Then I came back. Tied my past and my present with my future. Bacurau is a bird; a bird that whistles; and like the bird, Bacurau made a lot of noise. As for my tinnitus. As the music I make. And as my future as a (Brazilian) filmmaker. As for my words that comes out a little broken at times due to my freedom to come and go (but the idea is still there)… I told you, the noise can be bad, yet can be good, things are, and so they are. As for me, I’m going with the noise, in peace, never alone, - I have so many things to say and show and do and I can’t wait to share it all with you. I’m the good noise #NOWNESSweekly
