After competing in men’s ski wear at the 2018 Winter Olympics, Halfdays co-founder @kiley.mckinnon had enough of the “unisex” fits truly meant for men, the unapproachability of the outdoor industry, and the shrink-it-and-pink-it-mindset. Frustrated by the lack of gear fit for women’s bodies coupled with “hardcore” outdoor culture, Kiley came together with co-founders @arianaferwerda and @karellegolda to provide women with a better option for ski apparel. Since launching the brand in 2020, we’ve now expanded into outdoor apparel for the mountain year-round, but ski is where everything started for us. It’s why we design technical products that can compete at the highest level of the sport, but can be worn by every level of skier and every type of skier: because everyone (!) deserves to own the mountain.

Bye-bye, boys club. Since day one. Before we show you what’s next, we wanted to share how we got here. When we started Halfdays in 2020, we set out on a mission to welcome more women to the mountain and disrupt the outdoor industry. As Halfdays evolves and grows, so does the industry. We’re continuing to shake things up and own the mountain, like we’ve been doing since day one. A new chapter of Halfdays is here. Winter Ski Collection coming 10/24.
